Play-Based Approach
Our preschool offers a play-based learning environment designed especially for young children. Through play, children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, ask questions, and learn at their own pace in a safe and nurturing setting.
Play-based learning helps young children develop important skills such as communication, independence, problem-solving, and social interaction—all while having fun. These early experiences build confidence and create a strong foundation for a smooth transition into kindergarten and the early school years.

Parent Involvement
At Dunbar Memorial Preschool, parents/caregivers are invited to volunteer in a variety of areas of the preschool’s daily operations. Parent volunteers help to make the preschool program successful for the children and teachers.
