2 yr old Program

Children explore and play in our bright and welcoming space.

• With a low teacher to child ratio of 1 teacher to every 4 children, the children receive lots of individual attention for their first educational experience.
• All teachers are ECE-certified.
• Parent/caregiver are encouraged to stay with their children but also have the option of using the facilities of Dunbar Community Centre.  Parents must be available within 10 minutes if there is an issue with their child. 
• The 2 year old program is a play based program that promotes learning through explorations.  The teachers use the ‘Reggio Inspired’ provocations that promote open ended activity without any prescribed outcome.  The provocations are designed to stimulate ideas, initiative and imagination for and amongst children, whether they choose to explore their ideas alone or in groups.
