Our 3 & 4 year old class operates 4 mornings each week, Monday to Thursday from 9:15 – 12:15.  When registering, you can indicate which mornings your child will attend (2, 3 or 4 days).

If your child is turning 3 between January and June of the current preschool year they may be eligible to join our  3 & 4 year old program starting in January. We have a limited number of spots for young 3 year olds, please contact us to check availability.   All young 3 year old applicants must be assessed by the Preschool Teachers and participate in a number of trial days at the preschool.  The Preschool Teachers will determine if your young 3 year old is ready to handle the 3-4 Preschool Program.

Partial Participation Option

For parents and caregivers who cannot commit their time during the school day, a limited number of fee-based opt-out spaces are available. These are available on a first come first served basis, please call or email us for further information.

To register your child in the 3s and 4s preschool program, please go the registration page and click on the CLICK HERE button. Registration is ongoing through the Preschool year but the largest intake is in September. We look forward to hearing from you!

Registration Priority

Priority for registration at Dunbar Memorial Preschool is as follows:

1. Children currently attending the 3-4 preschool program (guaranteed a spot in the following year’s class)
2. Children with siblings currently attending the preschool
3. Children of non-registered Executive alumni, and then those of other non-registered alumni (families must inform the Registration Chair before the registration day in order to secure their priority placement)
4. All other children
